Like a smile, breathing
Hope is pleading
For the joy who we share
To stir us with its prayer
Reminding hearts to care
Reminding souls laid bare
To find a way to give
From the spirit, sweet forgiveness
Genuine faith, revealing
All the light that sparkles, twinkling
To assure us that He is with us
Like a beauty, singing
Kindness warm, so inspiring
Reaching beyond wisdom
Into the peace, the sweet serenity
Who abides on the heart of those
God has gifted with His love
That never leaves, never departing
This love is strong, alive, inviting
Stirring hearts to always believe
Encouraging souls to give and receive
With a heart won by His victory
On the cross – Jesus greatest gift
Like the rain, falling on the earth
Abiding our prayers, psalms captivating
Coloring the heart in a gentle grace
Flames of inspiration, imagination, insight
Into the spirit, the warm and tender
Light of a heart so alive, so positive
This is the love that God gave to all of us
Enriching our lives with the nutrients
Washing away the pain, the dark, the shame
Bringing the wonder…
Joy and peace, hope that believes
Gifts of the spirit – kindness, caring
Feelings that know our God is in control
Just like the rain – reflects faith and hope
When the moment arrives, we will abide
In the promise of the Son, who loves everyone
