Just August
In August, all four were born; and for me,
August symbolizes preparation for finality
as well as new beginnings, portraying both pain and pause.
In August, my family comes to mind, because there's a great
friend and younger brother in Missouri. There's my youngest brother
in Indiana, who grew up without a father. I'm blessed with a younger
sister in Minnesota, who's strong like an oak and most precious. And
lastly, one tested and tried in California, our only daughter and first born.
