Just As I Imagined
Trees were dressed in gold, acorns came down like bullets
Leaves fell through the air, in flurries as they landed together
Oh so much to do, but just enough time to stop and notice
Scene after scene, in a continual slideshow of beauty
The lake was smooth with perfect reflection of the mountains
Oh a colorful mirror it was, reflections to remember…
Just as I imagined what once was, but still waits to begin
