Just An Old Man
Just an old man, your eyes sparkle blue,
as you remind me once again.
Just an old man, your smile gleaming bright,
is that all you think I am?
Beauty, youth and ardor in you is what I see.
You can't know my feelings,
you could never understand,
Your whole life lies before you
and I'm just a foolish old man.
If you could only see who's there in front of you, really who I am...
No emotions left inside of me,
they are for the young,
nor longing dreams to fill my night
for desire, I feel none.
My youthful need to touch you, in your eyes, mere perverted fantasies.
Just an old man, my life so close to ending
and yours at its beginning.
Just an old man, my vision growing dimmer,
I hate what I've become.
