Just a Thin Blue Ribbon
Our Earth is a speck,
Compared to his friends,
Some have raging atmospheres,
Some don't even have one.
We treasure, our thin blue ribbon.
But it continues to get weaker,
Every day of our life.
Our thin blue ribbon,
So fragile and graceful,
Is our little bubble,
To isolate us from the galaxy.
We poke a needle into its walls everyday.
Fires rage, Storms destroy, we dominate.
Our thin blue ribbon,
Is what holds us together.
