Just hold my hand Lord, hold on tight
In darkness of my darkest night
Comfort me in hours of despair
With your warm, constant gentle care.
Fear disappears when you are there
With answer to every prayer
Whoever we are, bland or grand
Lord we trust you just understand.
Here I lay my sins at your feet
Sins I so often do repeat
Allow your light to manifest
As my heart’s secrets I confess.
When my head is concealed in sand
For the things I don’t understand
Lord I am here at your command
I just need you to hold my hand.
