Just so you know, I will give you my summer Until the leaves change, then I'll be gone Nay, let us play, let us frolic and plunder Every day together, until the last dawn Twelve weeks for us to chase the sun, such Escapades to seek, so many exploits to chart! Expect all, until fall, then I won't have much Not for the winter is my Peter Pan heart Turning seasons so briefly offer its glory Honor its abundance and restore its story. 6/18/18 Juneteenth contest sponsered by Edward Ibeh

This poem is eminently pleasing to read, and to re-read as well, Michelle. Warm summer wishes, Gershon

I really like this Michelle. Offer it's glory and restore it's story. I was caught up in the poem so much I didn't realize it was an acrostic. I think that says a lot about it. Very well done my friend!!..........Pat
