Joyce Johnson and I Have Something In Common

Joyce Johnson has something common with me She and I share similiar grief confess When on that airplane I finally see Compassionate face I will love no less Then I will see a person who understood All heartaches, just to talk over coffee This will make me feel so very good As we sit down at Starbucks; I'll pay fee I will ask her how she withstood trials How did she reconcile child's early demise I'll ask her to share her heartache with me While we eat a snack with that coffee Joyce and I share one thing in common see Meeting her will be such a relief if only brief Removed from contest because I used the wrong form or style.... IT'S POEFREE WHO MEANS NO ONE ANY HARM...dear, if you have to ask what an editor does, even w/your tongue planted firmly in your cheek, that proves you need me. We editors do what most poets do not do and that's to overlook words fundamental to the subject. AND MY OFFER STILL STANDS.....fondly, free-PLEASE READ ME EVERY DAY, it's a tutorial on how to submit poetry that may not be perfect in content, but owns all the cohesive words. Poetry ain't no hobby, it's birthed by a poet's blood.

THIS IS POEFREE AGAIN......READ YOUR LAST POEM TO YOURSELF AND YOU WILL DISCOVER THAT WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE SAYING SO WE THINK THE READER DOES TOO. HOWEVER, LOOK AT THE WORDS YOU'RE LEAVING OUT.....THAT'S WHAT EDITORS ARE FOR MY DEAR.....if u want, before you post a poem, send it to a pro....that's me and my address is freecee.cee70@gmail.com JUST TRYIN' TO HELP IS AWL! NICE TRY! This is Poefree, and you commented on one of my poems using the word "implied" (profanity, oh heaven forbid)....well in case you don't know....the speaker implies the listener infers...I DIG YOUR COMMENTS AS WELL AS YOUR POETRY, yours in comments, commitments, and costume parties...POEFREE

That would be a lovely meeting, Sara! It fills a void when we talk or listen to another's grief or heartache. Sharing can be a source of healing for all. This makes me sad...wishing you and yours the best!! Mikki
