Joy, Hope and Kindness
Inspire my heart and soul
Lift me up with their brilliance
Reassuring me that all is good
With my dreams, my yearnings
The feelings that remind me
God is here – alive in me
Joy, hope and kindness
Whisper grace across my spirit
Color my heart in a vibrant hue
Of creativity that assures me
I can lift up my prayers to Him
And learn what is best to give
With my heart, my soul, my best
He stirs such wonder within
Joy, hope and kindness
Miracles to breath into a heart
Filling them with encouragement
Assuring them that love is alive
And they have what it takes to survive
The worst that might come
The darkness, the shadows, the dread
Of never seeing how much
I’ve been blessed by His hand
Joy, hope and kindness
Lift my mind from its worries
Silence all the thoughts of discouragement
Linger on the heart who knows
God is alive and He is in control
He will never allow sorrow or fear
To pull me away from love which is Him
The One who blesses so selflessly
With blessings poured out over
The heart and soul who knows
He is a God of light, life and love
He is a God we can know
Will reassure and replace
All the worry and strife
With joy, hope and kindness!
This is simply a reminder
That His light is still shining bright
And He reflects all that is good
All that is alive – love that delights
In giving back to Him with
Joy, hope and kindness
Powerful reminders that He is
Who He says He is
He is love that is stronger
Than anything there is!
