Joy comes from giving From a heart who listens To the hope and feeling Of grace that is given By God’s gentle spirit Joy comes from living With a sense of caring That comes from sharing All the kindness you have With those who need your prayers Joy comes from knowing The answers to all problems Are found in God’s book Where psalms and proverbs Awaken hope, faith and love Joy comes from appreciation Of all that God has blessed you with The faith, the hope, the love That creates a purpose for you To always find a way to give Joy comes from accepting All the sorrows, pains and failures Giving a comforting word or deed To remind someone they have the strength To let go of the struggle and breath Joy comes from the idea That love is fiercer than hatred It allows hearts to heal and feel All the wonders of grace within Where God allows us to know Him Joy comes from knowing The beauty of hope in the soul Where we all should find the faith To reach out, discover the grace That it takes to praise Him today Joy comes from the One Who gave His only Son To free our souls from a prison Of doubt, dread and darkness Freeing us to believe in eternity!

Joy come when one abandons oneself to God, no matter the circumstances. ~~
