Jonathon

Jonathon never owned a pair of shoes or a football or a bicycle Jonathon never heard a bird sing or a stream flow or his parents cry Jonathon never saw the crisp white snow or a golden sunrise or his fourth birthday Jonathon’s world was four sterile white walls Jonathon ‘s toys were medical machines Jonathon could smile occasionally Oh boy Jonathon could smile
