twilight falls over me like a wave the dimness wraps around me like a cloak the colors inspire me poetically all those streaks and tones of purple, blue, and pink mingling, swirling, merging overcoming my consciousness I am mindful and aware of each ebb and flow jolted, amazed, and astonished, aware no matter how many times I have experience a sunset each time is a lofty show painted by God as his paint brush drips with hues dramatic they drip not defined, not perfect, yet exquisite twilight is a poetic time of day a peaceful, calmness, soothing to the soul so stunning I am jolted by twilight and the sky is the most meaningful of the day
