Jesus Saves
Jesus Saves
My passion is the common sense salvation
Jesus saves
When you repent and call on Him
Jesus saves
Suddenly, I heard some appearing
Jesus saves
That wearing repentance - that wearing repentance
Jesus saves
My shame and guilt just melted away,
As I fell on my knees, to pray, to pray;
And by the way did I say;
Hallelujah
As of someone gently electioneering, electioneering
All my soul within me veering;
Satan watching mad, sneering;
Instead I uncovered the guardian;
As Angels look on, calling me endearing, I’m their darling
My mind always strays to apostles
I am shorn of my clearing;
Just think of me once sinner;
Now taken on as a new believer;
The plastered providence penning
Alas, O did my soul and spirit need mending;
All my soul within me veering;
Satan watching mad, sneering;
Jesus saves
Instead I uncovered the guardian;
Jesus saves
As Angels look on, calling me endearing, I’m their darling
Jesus saves
I crave the given, giant gospel;
Jesus saves
As I inhale the peace an d promise of the Lord
Jesus saves
