Verse 1:
The sky grows dark, the wind starts to swirl
The lightning strikes, the storm begins to hurl but through the chaos, I hear a sound a voice so clear, it shakes the ground
Chorus:
I hear the thunder roll and the trumpet blow Jesus is coming, can you hear His call? The skies will open wide, the grave will give up its hold Jesus is coming, are you ready to go?
Verse 2:
The world is shaking, the end is near the signs are all around, it's crystal clear we must prepare, our hearts must be right for in the twinkling of an eye, we will take our flight
Chorus:
I hear the thunder roll and the trumpet blow Jesus is coming, can you hear His call? The skies will open wide, the grave will give up its hold Jesus is coming, are you ready to go?
Bridge:
Let's not be caught, unawares let's keep our eyes, fixed on the Lord for when He comes, we want to be found Ready and waiting, with our feet on the ground
Chorus:
I hear the thunder roll and the trumpet blow Jesus is coming, can you hear His call? The skies will open wide, the grave will give up its hold Jesus is coming, are you ready to go?
Outro:
So let us live, each passing day with hope and faith, along the way for we know that soon, we'll hear that sound the trumpet blast, as Christ descends down.
