Jealous Baby Giraffe
Baby giraffe was jealous of baby joey.
Why don’t you have a pouch, mother? He asked.
She had no answer for that but mentioned her height.
I can munch leaves off the top of a yumyum tree.
How many mother kangaroos can do this?
He had no idea, but he did not care about food.
He wanted to stay as close to his mother as possible.
So, mother giraffe made a sling and carried him round
But after awhile her neck began hurting.
I wish I had a trunk he told her.
Then I could spray my friends with water.
She racked her brain but could not figure out how to get this for him.
