Jack and John To the Tune of Jack and Jill- a Cheeky 101

Sorry couldn't find a pic of John, but this is KENNY!!! Isn't he adorable? Why Kenny? I call him Kenny because he reminds me of Kenny Rogers. I LOVED that guy's hair. Jack calls me Betty Boop. I've been so interested in reading the posts between John and Jack. They crack me up :) This just CAME to me. :)

Jack and John went up the hill to make us all a'giggle They won't calm down and when they clown Our bellies are a'jiggle A lim-er-ick will do the trick to get us all a'laughing they write so well each rhyme...a spell That gets us all guffawing They write of "wind", they write of poop, Each one a silly ditty but here's the deal These two are real Their writes are really witty Now Jack and John just banter on and comment to each other They like to please Oh, how they tease As "funnies" they uncover!! ~~~~~~The END!!!!~~~~~ For Casarah Nance's 101 contest September 9, 2015 Yes....The END is part of the word count! ;)

:) I love singing. I wrote my own lullabies for my daughter....two of them. She still remembers them now at 20. :) I enjoyed writing this piece for two amazing men. Thanks for your sweet comments. You always lift my spirit. Hugs

I may even venture to say that their exchanges are MORE interesting!! ;) Yes, soup is a place of many friendships. That is what makes it special. I have people here who probably know my heart better than people in the "real" world do. Thanks for adding your special flavor to the soup, dear. Hugs

I first knew about John when I read a collab of yours, I think. Something about the sea? It was fabulous. Then you wrote a dedication poem, and I decided to check him out. I've only read maybe 3 or 4 of his writes, but I can see from his posts back and forth to Jack that they really get on very well. Jack...Now, he and I go way back....He's written a poem or two about me. :) Betty Boop from Beirut...and Something with my title...I've printed them out. I do love the guy. :) Thanks for visiting.

:) Thanks, Richard. It's only for a few days as I need to come back to get ready for the new academic year. Since having done my MA I get to teach new courses. I'm so happy! :) In the world of academics, experience doesn't count as much as degrees do, unfortunately. Anyway....Will try to get as much in before I go. Hugs
