I'Ve Watched Them Fall
the trees
pierce of sight
with raven's eyes
beyond the iron gate
the stones
now seal
their whispered fate
as hush of gossip falls
in silence on the hill
their lips now pucker
of death's last kiss
stygian old maids
their blood drops
crimson against skies
rejected even by night
