I'Ve Known You...

I've known you most of my life. I was a shy, nieve girl who believed in you, at first . . . I thought we could never have a problem that I couldn't fix. If I'd just show you enough love, you would appreciate life and all it had to give us. I gave you my body, my soul, my love and my life . You took it all greedily, and then asked for more. So I gave you my dignity, my respect, and my self-esteem. You accepted it all and asked for more. So I then handed you my self worth. When you saw that I had nothing more to give, you then hit me, bit me, pushed me, strangled me, you tried to kill me. I didn't realize that I was already dead inside, you were just taking care of the rest. I guess I can say I've known you for most of my death, and I have to let you go now because I choose to live.
