I'Ve Decided To Be Vegan For 21 Days But I'M Just Mentioning It Here Thats Not What the Poems About

I was going to use my Google search history as a poetry prompt It's fascinating what you can tell about a person For instance, I looked up "what rhymes with true" I feel I've let you, the reader, down Also "what is the ending to the joke about the penguin rolling down the hill" I'm still amused about that one... I wonder if this can become a poem? I searched my depths, found only shallows Concerned myself that I was hollow Sought out a way I may connect With soul across the waters edge Wrote poetry without a rhyme Invoked simpler things from simpler times Returned myself to labours toil More settled soul, cooled from prior boil But then unrest begot my heart Again I'm right back at the start For there's another black and white and red all over Think it's a nun, please no! it rhymes with boulder What a way to end this break Before posting did I hesitate? No as I'm a wistful chancer Seeking not finding poetic answer Perhaps in time I'll find my peace Time is up, let's reuse the rhyme 'cease'
