It's been so very hot that you couldn't sleep. Now the rain has come at last and it's cooler and everything is so happy to feel the moisure. It's a true blessing.
The rain comes, cleansing the air from smoke, fumes and pollutants.
The grass, trees and flowers lift their leaves toward the nourishing moisture.
It splashes 'gainst my window pane forming little rivulets on it's way to soak into the thirsty ground.
Watching it through the window I see small rivers running down the sides of the street forming little rapids as the water rushes downhill.
Ducks and geese revel in the rain drops as they dive and frolic in the pond in the park across the street.
The air smells so cool, fresh and clean.
It's raining , and it's good.
