It would be good to escape from this place, to detach myself from heavy memories
It would be good to escape from this place, to detach myself from heavy memories
It would be good to escape from this place, to detach myself from heavy memories,
To leave behind the shadows and stories that have intertwined over time,
To lose myself on unseen paths, seeking the hidden mystery of the unknown,
But staying has its own charm, a bittersweet taste of nostalgia,
All those goddesses of the past, now living in their palaces of dust and dreams,
Weaving their stories with every intensely lived soap opera episode,
And those heroes from the yearbook, with their smiles frozen in time,
Have become keepers of the mundane, among paperwork and sandwiches, searching for meaning.
It's fascinating to stay and watch how dreams scatter in the wind,
How reality wears its heavy cloak over hopes and desires,
But when you step in front of the mirror, avoid seeking the truth of time,
Not to see how the years flow, how they slip away without return in life's hourglass,
In the inevitable whirl of things slowly disappearing into the shadow of forgetting.
