It Was Her and Only Her, I Could Tell

It Was Her And Only Her, I Could Tell Memory stone, some day an old age gem stored safe and eager for new life in dreams. Only lonely spark in a void still dim longing for waters from life's racing streams. First I saw her, hot desire and love struck she living on hope's promise and love's heart. I was busy trying to make a buck paying no attention to love's new chart. Yet love, love rang so loud its golden bell that sweet echo hit hard and knocked me down. It was her and only her, I could tell a beautiful princess without her crown. Life moves on, we sail in its flowing stream. We each had found our gem in the same dream. Robert J. Lindley, 6-19-2017 Sonnet, (When you have found the One)

Such a lovely sonnet Robert for you and your wife. Indeed, when that invisible strobe blinks and the kinetic energy zaps across the void, there is no stopping that connection, attraction and love that lights up between a woman and a man...Maria

This is a lovely sonnet, Robert. Isn't love grand? It can make big burly tough men write poems about soft things:)

oh what a beautiful sonnet - so filled with love. Having seen your photograph she really is a stunning lady and you make such a lovely couple. I struggle to write romantic poems - its our anniversary on Thursday I could try, but knowing me it would end up with humour!:-) hugs Jan xx

Thank you my friend. I had so much help by way of inspiration writing this one as its subject, from my point of view, is my beautiful and loving wife. She sleeping now, will read it as her , poem for the day, when she wakes. I failed to write her one yesterday and this one has to be double good to make up for my forgetful lapse.
