I got up early had a shower, I had a busy day ahead
If I'd known how t'would turn out, I would've stayed in bed
Drove to work, I had an interview for a senior promotion
In the parking lot I got involved in a heated commotion.
An idiot cut me up and drove into the last space
My blood was boiling and I told him to his face
Curses were exchanged, I shouted " I'm gonna kill you"
I asked folks who he was, seemed nobody knew.
I went in for the interview and there sat before me
Was the idiot from the parking lot, a Mr John McGee
I was cursing under my breath saying, me and my big gob
And as you've probably guessed, I didn't get the job.
