It takes more courage than you'd think To taste the fruit of life, to drink It takes more sadness than you'd guess To learn the truth of happiness It takes more faith than you'd assign To touch the hand they call divine It takes more hope than you'd believe To trust the dusk of another eve It takes more insight than you'd try To find the truth inside the lie It takes more sight than you would see To love the soul that belongs to me.

I've just re-read it, Michelle. I like it even more now!... This is a STUNNER, every bit as good---if not better---than "June," for which you earned a well-deserved trophy...This poem moves me big-time. Bravo again! :)gw
