It Lives On
My love reached the mountain top today
Can’t you see?
Shining high with the snow in the sky
I’m not sure you do
With so many not taking the time
To know me
Judgement that can whirl so fast
Around and around
The little things that get in the way
Matter more to some
But, there it is and always will be
Shining above
Straight from my heart within
Through all the darkness
Through all the harshness to be found
Love is light
As it rises, as it shines, as it spreads
--- It lives on ---
