It Happened On a Misty Morning

Wettened by the mornings dew Closely spaced where rows of roses grew Footprints stained the cobblestone Where my love and I had walked, alone Memories bloom like flowers anew inside this heart of mine who knew That every trace of her still here brings back the scent of her veneer

Dear Vie, your nostalgic verse dovetails beautifully with Charlie's. So very sentimental, romance remembered in one's heart left behind. Best wishes for a win and warmest wishes for you my sweet friend.. ~Susan
