It All Comes Down To Love
You will need to examine every emotional feeling that you've ever felt
to figure out which, if any, had a long-lasting impact upon your life.
Fear's a definite contender, brandishing a surefire instant impact,
but fear is a temporary state of mind that does not tend to last.
Hope's indisputable impact gradually dwindles with time
While happiness is a fleeting feeling you'll experience
intermittently during the course of your entire life.
But you will chase after it long after it is gone
as sadness dissolves into an ocean of tears.
Empathy and sympathy fading within;
metamorphosis into a snide smile
and have little impact anymore.
Hate and anger lessen in time
failing to maintain control.
When seeking a lasting
impact on your life;
without a doubt,
it all comes
down to
love.
