Not my style, Panagiota. Maybe a Sonnet. My favorite form to write in is my own the Bakerian Sonnet. 14 lines 4-4-4-2 AA-BB CC-DD EE-FF GG there you have the form, just add words. :-) Thanks for sharing! Bill

Pangie, you always write from your heart and your mind with in transparent urgency and truth. So glad you are going to try haiku. I think you will enjoy it once you get started. I will be on the lookout for the birth of your haikus! And, I am so honored by your "shout out!" What a gift! Many thanks coming your way. How about this rain?!!! Beautiful, huh? Sending you all the blessings of the season!

I won a POTD.for a Haiku. There are close to 3,000 poems done in three years.some haikus in the first Anthology. I just leave it to masters in the Japanese art form like you and Callus. Oh, Senryus are better for me! I even referred you and Paul to a writer……….in this age of messaging especially, English goes out the window! I will refer to you both often for this form. I just am a simple person, Sam. I broke my leg a year ago today…5months to learn to walk. You write beautifully! I am not a nature person, at all. But I love your Haikus. Today was my daughters 21st anniversary, wish you would read that post.i Will soup you if I pen another. Am into ClassicEnglish poetry, like sonnets of Shakespeare! Rain, Hurrah! New poets think poetry can’t be over three lines! Sorry, I don’t get it. Honored by your visit! Poetry is not a speedway! It’s a mountain to climb. I am new at this, bear with me! Pangie

Can't canto? Less can be more and haiku proves that. Write what your heart sings and anything is possible, Miss Pangie. :o)

Ok, Arlo. Will write my heart as soy say. Canto is to hard for me right now. Length does not determine a poems validity. Suggest you read Paul Calkus~ a master at Haihu, Sennryu and Tanka. Try Sam Kaufman ~ incredible haikus, wow! Thank you…,Pangie.

I had a real, long nice, witty comment...then I hit delete by mistake. "Bless me to do one, that sings and billows!" Now you will have to settle from me with, you do it all the time naturally. Blessings.

You know Prince, all I want in a comment is really simple. Just someone to acknowledge that I exist!! Thats all. You have done that with stars..so even, if you just said “hello”? I do know you are a genuine Poet friend and thank the Lord not a comment chaser. Those are a dime a dozen here. Who wants that? Not me! So grateful you have stood by me, rain or shine! Pangie

Well, howdy Stranger! Not me, I could not write one this early in my poetic life. Sometimes, I think of writing something other than poetry. You could, I know that! Pangie
