-Is It You

Is it you whispering through the rustling of the leaves
Or are you the soft warm evening breeze

Are you the quiet lapping of the oceans waves
Is that you talking to me from the grave

Is it you chirping in the early morning light
Telling me all your news, is it you…..am I right?

Or are you the pitter patter of the mild autumn rain
Is that you talking to me once again

Are you the peaceful sound of the trickling creek
Is that you sharing the news of your week

It has to be you when I hear a sweet melody 
You telling me your here right next to me

Or is it just me wanting it to so desperately to be you
Are you still here with me on earth….is it true?

I don't think loved ones ever entirely leave us...in fact, remind us, in many mysterious ways, how all is connected.
