I do not read much poetry to be honest, although I have read a couple by Emily and seen a few quotes... Rumi is my fave poet

Ha, ha. I must be in your 'club.' Until very recently, Emily was the only poet I read consistently...Thanks for the support! ~ Gershon

Hey, hey, Eve! a song,...a sting--Ah, too, it has a wing! I've taught this poem to kids from 8 to 80 and across 50+ countries...and it's a great starting point for poetry, isn't it? Fame is not a bee!!/Or is it?!...Anyway, a great contest would be to write a poem with the same grammatical/syntactical structure as this one, but changing all the main words...It's REALLY challenging. (Try it). I'm too busy til late April, but maybe I'll run it then. Thanks for checking this one out! :) gw

Thank you, Silent One. Are you an Emily Dickinson fan too? (Shhhh. Don't tell. That makes two of us...Shades of "I'm Nobody; Who are You?" by Emily D).
