That's one of the most common trait among people, whose hearts lacked faith in God, seeking mercy and "assistance" in rough times.. while in bliss and blessedness they rejoice, taking everything for granted! This ungrateful behaviour is mentioned in the holy Quran.. inciting Man of Faith and Love to be aware of their relationship with the Almighty God. A great couplet and a FAV. Insightful as you are dear Demetrios be blessed always.

It is the second time that you let me know that what I have written is sited in the Quran! The truth is one and doesn't change, unfortunately, people perceive the truth in different ways but the fact remains: God is One and for all us the same . no matter what name we give to the Divine! Some people use God like an umbrella, they only think about him when it rains, on a sunny day there HE sits in the corner by himself. Well said Demetrios!
