Ironwood Violin

I saw you with my ears; before my eyes could ever let you in Felt you deep within my heart; before my fingertips could begin Fully lost; I found a new spectacular, hopeful; kind of grin My mind felt piquant; long before my lips ever sensed your soft skin Your laughter; plays song melody, like an Ironwood violin Ignoring my blindness; helped me discover your soul, deep within

Musical notes of a laughter so strong and vibrant! How can I not write about it? Extremely glad you enjoyed this! A.S.

Thank you Deb! I love writing to people even before they realize that they've inspired me. Warmly A.S.

The title caught my attention. It was a pleasant read, but, inspired by Ironwood, I'm still trying to figure out. Bows from ironwood I can understand. Violins are typically made from spruce, willow, maple, ebony, and rosewood. I wonder what Ironwood would produce. It must be very interesting.

Hello Martin, thank you very much for the interest and commentary! My intention with the Ironwood violin was to personify how unbreakable the beauty of her laughter is. In the whole it is about hearing the laughter before ever seening the Muses face. Best regards A.S.
