Invocation

Invocation, may thy spirit shine for me Like a clustering of stars across the sky Or the effervescent glitter of a deep blue sea With a solitary sail passing by Invocation, may thy knowledge cover me Like the dawn of recognition in my soul When a better explanation is the perfect harmony Of the promise and the purpose when I'm full Invocation, may thy peace be as a river In the long and winding journey to below Where the kindness of the river is a truly perfect giver In the mercy of the moisture in the flow. The reward for your time crafting a poem that rhymes Bryan, is all ours; we, the Soupers who are lucky enough to read and enjoy them. Total respect. Cheers Gary

Thank you, Gary, for that perspective. If my readers have come expecting to read something in my style of writing, they deserve something world-class. Maybe someday, I'll get there. In the meantime, I'll keep rhyming. Thanks again, Bryan.

Such lovely, stirring images Bryan - river, "clustering stars," and dawn. I love the movement of this write all linked together by your invocation. Congratulations on your win. Sending you many blessings.

Thank you for your kindly words. It takes a long time to craft a poem that rhymes, and with very little or no reward. Still, I feel obligated to write something beautiful for my followers. Thanks again, Bryan

Thank you for invoking, the very best in me. I do my best to write for you, accordingly. An invocation is the time to say what must be said. And thank you for your graciousness before I go to bed.
