~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The golden pixie’s honeyed voice renews
Spring’s fresh blooms join birds’ melodious song
When springtime melts lingering winter blues
In soft goodbye song sung upon winds strong.
Smell of flowers, trees budding getting green
Sun shines bright, the sky blue like cornflower
Buzz of honeycombs glisten, golden sheen
Imbued with the sun’s glorious power.
Butterflies flutter, from their wings no sound
In new tree limbs, blue bird builds nesting spot
Below, field of flowers cover the ground
Mother bird feeds chicks from her insect pot.
Let us lift our voices, let our souls sing
Rejoice in new spring, birth of everything.
