Don't spill sad tears grieving my death,
for I don't fear my final breath.
I've felt breezes blow through my hair,
and as seasons changed, I was there.
I've danced amidst falling raindrops
watching showers quench thirsty crops.
I've viewed murmurations of birds
and filled books with poetic words.
I've seen sprays of twinkling stars shine;
tried gourmet foods and champagne wine.
I've witnessed day morph into night;
swam seas, and experienced flight.
I've tasted falling flakes of snow
and observed the tides' ebb and flow.
I've loved, and I've been loved in turn
and felt passion's hot flame burn.
I've lived, and in time, I will die,
so, you have no reason to cry.
