I felt warmth from the sun on my face, the breeze through my hair A kiss gently touched my lips, from the welcomed fresh air What I couldn’t see, made no difference to me for now I am released into nature, I would find my way somehow A concert of sounds around me flowed for me to hear There is something new just around the corner, oh, so near I welcome the oncoming, destined, change as it must be I reach with the beauty of growth like every passing tree Nothing is settled at this time, but one thing remains true I will be myself with each step I take, as I follow through Heidi Sands 9/26/18
