Inner Ruins
Shadows linger
As unforgotten memories
Hollow laughter, floating across
The waves of reminiscing.
Ecstatic faces remain
As captured, Silent photograph
Mementos, Their presence
Unencumbered, compels laughter
Though hidden hurts
Disguised behind
Fragmented illusions, a frozen life of
Journeys, unexplored
Destiny of tomorrow,
Promises shattered
The broken pieces of
A forgotten wish
And we, the ghosts of our yesterdays
Daunted
By pain, existing together a moment
Unamourously - serenely
Tattered, edges
Interwoven, uneven, seams of
Obscured perceptions
Myths
Taunt reality, in the
Solid mists of a dream.
