Inner Cleansing

Our deep desire being inner cleansing We see a long list of things to be done This quest not a seeking but unseeking Requiring ego cravings be undone Not desire type then but desire itself Each yearning birthing hidden fears subtle Cleansing mind body, all goes off the shelf Paving way within for Gods miracle Once our earth vehicle is hollowed out Void of emptiness within magnetised No pivot where fearful desires may grout In time, our divine self is realised The list is long but the path is simple Nestled in silence, resting thoughts nimble 06-November-2020

Thanks Barbara! Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with the Bible, other than random extracts here and there resident in memory from schooldays. However, the spiritual truth is one, irrespective of the path. I had once written on John 1.1 though out of curiosity. Let me see if I can dig it out and post it on PS Edit: Tried but the poem exceeds permitted length. You can check it out on Spiritual Forums. I use the same handle.
