In Your Arms

In your arms is like no other world,
I sail on your sea of love
And drift in your tenderness
Your touch, your sweet caress
Fills me with such desire,
A passion burns inside me that no-one else
Has ever touched upon, and yet,
You bring out the child in me
And like a child, I feel so safe,
So secure within your arms
Laying beside you, feeling you holding me
Time has no place
There's nothing but you and I,
The world outside cannot touch us,
A thousand dreams and wishes
That we both share, all come true
In my word within your arms.

I want to tell you how beautiful this poem is. Your love for this special man shines bright. I know your heart must be breaking, now that he is not well. Dear Heart....courage does not always roar, sometimes courage, is the quiet voice at the end of the day..God Bless

True love can certainly bring out the inner child. And the sense of security it provides is so comforting. Nice work, Janette. Hope to see more of your work!
