In The Nick Of Time

the day I died was a rainy one but the sun came out in the nick of time I can laugh about it now but it was a worry

Hi Clive, Thanks for the laugh still early in the am. It's a very witty take on death but if we all have lived and died a hundred other lives (some to believe in this), it makes a lot of sense. Sometimes we worry over things, when it rains and when we go through somethings, to later when the sun rise, to look back and laugh over it. Although when things happen it definitely is not the most fun experiences. This is a deep poem. And i think many can resonate. Pleasure reading this

How do I identify with this?! I feel this resonate both within personal low points and funeral conversations - the two intermingling in a such a way to create a portal of understanding. Some elements don't apply to me but I can see careful word choices too which make this very special, plus it's uplifting. I use that expression a lot (and funnily enough live by it). I'd better fave this one. Excellent - make sure it goes in your pile to publish

Bit tongue in cheek this one. A lot of my poems have a sort of being on two different view points at once, like an overview I suppose. I believe in rebirth and living again, like groundhog day but you don't remember past re-runs of life, this poem suggests perhaps sometimes you do in feelings and hunches. I will add to the pile! Thanks for sharing your thoughts D
