In the mystery of the night, when stars weave their dance on the velvet black sky

In the mystery of the night, when stars weave their dance on the velvet black sky, I embrace the echo of love that resonates like a symphony of unfulfilled dreams, like a sea whispering desires in waves of memories that never fade, and I find myself shipwrecked on the island of my thirsty soul. I knew beforehand that I am not the sculpture your light would glorify, but in the silence between the beats of our hearts, I found hidden eternities, where time becomes a lazy river flowing towards the ocean of forgetting, and I stayed, closing my eyes to the signs, searching for a lost harbor. I dared to steal minutes from the hourglass of time we called ours, moments where the child within you bathed in my laughter like a spring of light. Your gaze clung to mine like two birds in an endless dance, and in that moment, I felt I tasted the nectar of an infinite love. I thought these moments would be the warm blanket in the winters to come, a secret refuge in the corners of the mind where I was once a desired thought, even if time will erase the drawing of my face from your blurred memory, but I hope you remember the feeling, like a flower enduring in the garden of the heart. I didn’t love you with the hope of being loved in return, but from a soul's impulse, like a flame that burns without asking for anything in return, only to light the way, I did not ask for my love to be a burden for you, but merely a memory, for all I needed was to love you, like a poet in love with words.
