In the Mirror
i see everything, in the mirror
everything you crafted me to be
the good
the bad
the ugly
i see the highlights and contours you sculpted me with from head to toe
the calm in my eyes contrasting against my rigid edges
sharp enough to stab through you like daggers
don’t get too close
you may not be able to leave the same as you entered
the curls bounce against my head adorning my face with vines of the jungle
enticing enough to pull you in until you never wish to leave
dangerous enough to steal the breath from your lungs
the curves that flow along my body as rivers do the banks
inviting soft caresses and warm embraces
running deep enough you may drown
the thickness of my thighs gives birth to a gateway only the strong can survive
amiable enough to effortlessly delve you into pleasure
awakening the euphoria inside you
yet growing so exuberantly that if you bask in the rapture too long
you leave room for nothing but suffocation
the soles of my feet carry me
through the fires of hell burning in my past
and the heaven sent clouds cushioning my future
i see everything, in the mirror
everything you crafted me to be
finding the beauty in my demons
embracing the enchantment of my angels
obliterating the traces of ugly sent from your mirror
to mine
i see everything, in the mirror
everything possessing me
and nothing belonging to you
