In the Memory of My Dadda
't was an unexpected day
Heart and soul raced back and forth
Clinging in the bitter shock in dismay
As puzzled as a maze in a bay!
My first love is he
Never failed to pamper me,
Carried me on his shoulder
I was his treasure,
You held my hand o'er years
Have never let me walk in tears!
I was a plain rock
You chiselled and moulded me,
Victory or failure you supported me.
Angry looks, strict scolds I recall
Were to shape me tall!
Resting in Paradise, I know you always
Shower me unconditional love and grace!
Epitome of love, You are the best
Dad I could ever get!
