In the Heat of the Night Jez Sayn-

How can you pray when there’s no day light The Son S O N How do you love when you hurt? And every wrong thing you ever done shows shun Grace G R AC E You’ve been delivered from But you let a little one comeback For there’s no such thing as a little, little, little All those little sins, are just SINS In the heat of separations past In the heat of relationships That didn’t last In the heat of those curses Those non instilled voices We are in the heat of the night Mercies eyes shine all O ver this place My witness stands tall Towers with amazing grace (for all-)All When I look upon you God’s glorious Yet in stilled I feel The tormented soul walk Away from me sayN they love me As I’m walking out the door How can you pray when there’s no day light The Son S O N How do you love when you hurt? And every wrong thing you ever done shows shun Grace G R AC E How can you pray when there’s no day light The Son S O N How do you love when you hurt? And every wrong thing you ever done shows shun Grace G R AC E You’ve been delivered from But you let a little one comeback For there’s no such thing as a little, little, little All those little sins, are just SINS In the heat of separations past In the heat of relationships That didn’t last In the heat of those curses Those non instilled voices We are in the heat of the night
