In the Forest of My Dreams
Deep in the forest of my dreams
I gently fall like dying leaves
to drown in flowing bloody streams;
a place where no one ever grieves.
Chased by angry naked nurses
deep in the forest of my dreams
flying witches cast their curses;
nobody there to hear my screams.
Shattered glass reflecting moonbeams
lighting toothless, gnawing spider.
Deep in the forest of my dreams,
distance from what's safe grows wider.
Awake, I sweat, I'm terrified
I wonder if it's what it seems
I've lived, I've loved, I've killed, I've died
deep in the forest of my dreams.
