in stars above, I see the most precious peace – a piece of me, redeemed and trusting in His grace, forever in the hands of the One who stills all grief – by poet
In stars above, I see the answer – sweetest love
glowing quietly, flowing to the heart, telling the story
in a silent glimpse…
in stars above, there is a promise, a hesitant shadow
flowing down to us on earth – we see the gentle
blessing away the shadows, the hurt,
all those feelings that fear has unearthed
all the tears, in colors still flowing – a heavy heart
the feelings of yearning….
In stars above, I see the glistening of an unwritten dream
feelings, prayers, like glass, reflecting the music inside,
the rhythms of grace, the joy and praise, all of those things
that give life its second chance,
the memories just keep dancing, revealing
what is alive and what abides in the breathless
grace, the silence that crawls through the words
after the storm has finally melted into the soft, green earth
in stars above, I see what it is to believe
the life beyond this world, life that will one day be
eternity, poured out so that everyone can see
faith, hope and love that stills our grief
this is the reason that we will forever be
a broken word, beneath gentle waters of dreams,
beneath the water’s truth pouring out her seas
blazing in the shadows, gently weeping
for the time when we shall all be free
when love will reveal the truth in me
the truth of grace that never leaves
grace that tells me…
in stars above, I will someday see
the joy that lives – coming back for me
this Jesus who is – everything I’ll ever need
the One who gives – love its victory!
