In Stars Above
In stars above, the night is wide,
A velvet hush that stirs the trees,
The moon begins her silver glide—
In stars above.
Gentle winds whisper through the leas,
The clouds in quiet grace abide,
They float like thoughts on twilight seas.
Where dreams and darkness coincide,
A peace drifts in on evening breeze,
The heart lets go of wounds long tied,
In stars above.
