IN THE GRASS
Down the slope of verdant valley
Jubilant cowgirl runs to descend
through course rough grasses carefully
to meet cowboy: Her dearest friend.
In grassy field busy cowboy.
Crazy cowgirl laughing aloud.
Cowboy roaming running in joy,
chasing grazing cattle in crowd.
Pastoral field full of wild weeds.
Yellow blooms on feral grasses.
Birds hopping, picking, eating seeds.
Through thorny bush cowgirl rushes.
Cowboy wearing green hat of grass.
Cowgirl with crown of marigold.
Cowboy collecting grass in mass,
tied bundle with twigs to hold.
Lovely pair shepherd-shepherdess
feeling lively in every limb
rolling under grasses’ caress,
dreaming desires up to full brim.
Two youngsters in free frolic mood.
Lying supine on grass, sky above.
Noon-Sun showers rays in plenitude.
Wobbling hearts feel hesitant love.
