Oh my this is so true. It can hurt to be on the receiving end of a joke. So much worse when friends join in. Very powerful few words!

I have been there many times. I developed a quick wit and was able to turn the tables quickly and that stopped them in their tracks.

Eileen. I read a comment you left for someone else so I thought I would stop here. This sounds like an ouch. People can hurt us. I know when I do something like that I try to apologize. While some conflict is inevitable, it's nice when people try to smooth things over and try to be kind. You sound like a magnificent soul!
