In Due Time

seeking out the essential, in due time. sooner than you expect, you shall ask that inner mirror what it is you've been living and dying for, all your time; before you, shall appear a perfect, dark vacuity that shall stare at you with startling, numbing vividness; as you leave wet footprints on desolate dry sands, knowing you can't be where you want to be by staying where you are; yet time keeps everything from happening all at once, for in time everything is given ample time, taking its time; weeding out all that is trivial, in due time.
